The company's Managing Director, George Skinner, graduated with a BA (Hons) from the world-renowned Mackintosh School of Architecture in 2001.
He has worked with a number of Scotland's leading architectural practices and has overseen the completion of a diverse list of projects with budgets ranging from £15,000 to £110million.
Prestigious developments which George has led include The Hub at Pacific Quay in Glasgow, Govan Business Park, Dumbarton Retail Park, the refurbishment of the India of Inchinnan Tyre Factory and a retail and commercial development at Rutherglen Park.
He also created new showrooms and office spaces for a leading Scottish car-sales group. Since 2008, Spacesix has designed and built one-off houses and extensions and overseen renovations for numerous residential clients.
In 2011 Spacesix Architects achieved worldwide recognition for its mould-breaking design of the "£50,000 House", an eco-friendly modular concept created by Applegreen Homes. It will be displayed at the BRE Innovation Park in Ravenscraig, Motherwell, as well as at similar exhibitions in the USA and China.
