Client: Mr & Mrs Stoltman, Cromarty Firth.
Commission: Extend out the front of the building and raise the pitch of the existing roof to allow the existing metal roof to be replaced with slate.
Budget: £150,000.
Description: The extension connects into the existing living space and creates a large open plan dining, kitchen and lounge. In keeping with the cabin theme large oak cathedral trusses have been introduced to form a double height space with reading gallery over the lounge.
A master bedroom with private balcony has also been introduced at first floor level to capture the views and take advantage of the elevated position.
