Commission: Create a contemporary extension to a stunning 1930s-built suburban villa to form a lounge and dining space and connect the spaces to the landscape.
Budget: £100,000
Description: The extension flows out from the house on to a separate external terrace connected by a water feature and stepped terrace.
The new lounge has a lowered floor level and is divided from the dining space by a feature open fireplace constructed from yellow paddle stones, enforcing the connection to the landscape.
