Client: Mr A Todd, Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire.
Commission: Redevelop a disused former timber mill built in the 1780s into a modern residential home.
Budget: £180,000
Description: A number of sheds were removed, brickwork was restored to its former glory and all windows and doors were replaced.
The design incorporated special access to natural lighting for the ground floor plus an open-plan lounge and family area that opens on to a garden sun terrace.
A feature staircase was also installed, scaling two storeys to an attic space converted into an extensive master bedroom.
