The MacMahon Extension
Client: Mr K Macmahon, Bearsden, Glasgow.
Commission: Create a ground-floor rear extension to accommodate a new large open plan kitchen, dining and family area. The proposals also include the formation of a new first floor bedroom and shower room.
Budget: £70,000
Description: Spacesix linked the back garden to the property by introducing a fully glazed by-folding rear wall. The existing rear wall of the house was removed at ground floor level to plug the extension into the existing accommodation. The new bedroom and shower room was formed at the side of the house by building on top of the existing garage.
