Commission: : Design a large contemporary four-bedroom detached villa on a site commanding spectacular views.
Budget: £600,000
Description: The greatest challenge was the size of the proposed house as it was uncharacteristic of the island's traditional small, whitewashed slateworkers' cottages.
The Spacesix solution was to break down the proposed building into smaller elements and arrange them in a composition that mimics existing homes in the area.
