Commission: Create the affordable, energy efficient house of the future in partnership with Applegreen Homes, with research by Glasgow Caledonian University.
Budget: £50,000
Description: The three-bedroom detached showhouse features a solar energy package that will cut electricity bills by over £200 per year and drastically reduce heating bills. The modular design will benefit from offsite construction, giving a high-quality factory finish and requiring less construction time on site.
